Description
This inline handrail, or lock rail, runs between the posts in your cable railing system. It attaches to your posts using mounting brackets and screws (included). Can function as a stand-alone handrail or support for a custom/wood top rail.
Benefits:
- Allows you to use thinner top rails, opening up the view above your railing.
- Maintains cable tension if top rail is removed, allowing for easy replacement if necessary.
- Aesthetically ties wood and aluminum together if used to support a wood top rail.
- Stair version accommodates slopes/stairs and curves in a run.
Available as small pre-cut sections (based on typical post spacing).
EACH ASSEMBLY INCLUDES
- 1ea stick (choose length) Post-to-Post Aluminum Rail
- 2ea Non-Articulating Bracket Assemblies
- 1ea mounting bracket
- 2ea #8×3/4in Phillips panhead screws
- 2ea #10×3/4in Phillips panhead screws
If you are cutting your Post-to-Post on site and thus require more than the default 2 mounting bracket assemblies included with each stick, additional mounting brackets and screws can be purchased a-la-cart.
