About Us
At STAINLESS CABLE & RAILING™, we are the railing experts. We design, engineer and manufacture premium glass and cable railing systems, then help customers like you plan their railing projects from layouts to estimates to direct shipping.
Your project matters to us. That's why we create only the highest quality and most affordable cable and glass railings for your deck and balustrade railing project.
Why Work With SC&R?
Simple.
-
Enjoy an unobstructed view.
Safety shouldn’t come at the cost of your view. Rather than blocking your surroundings like traditional pickets, cable railing’s minimal design places focus on what’s beyond it. Not only that, but the cable itself offers a chic, modern aesthetic that classes up any property, whether used indoors or outdoors, residential or commercial.
-
More enjoyment. Less maintenance.
Many great-looking railing systems require heavy regular maintenance. Not ours. We source and deliver only premium-quality, low-maintenance materials, with innovative advancements like CareFree Clean glass panels to save you time. We don't just deliver a railing - we give you back hours to spend enjoying your space.
-
Installation is easy.
We engineer every system we sell for easy installation. Pre-drilled cable holes, ready-to-use cable fittings, and clear step-by-step instructions - our attention to detail saves you hours of build time.
-
Quality, durable materials.
All of our products use top-quality materials like powder-coated aluminum, sturdy tempered glass, anodized aluminum, or 316-grade stainless steel (the same corrosion-resistant material trusted and used for sailboat rigging).
-
Custom solutions from real experts.
Every project and layout is unique. So unlike simple railing resellers, we don't stick you with a one-size-fits-all product. Our experts problem-solve for your unique layout with you - and where needed, we will custom-fabricate solutions to fit your project.
-
Rigorously engineered for safety.
Our systems are designed by real experts, and meticulously crafted to meet and exceed international building codes and safety standards. You can have maximum views and maximum safety - there's no need to compromise.
Strong.
For USA domestic orders, UPS is our shipper of choice. For online orders that can be boxed under 150lbs, the UPS charge is calculated automatically. Orders that are heavier than 150lbs, will be processed, and you will be contacted by phone before your order is processed with additional shipping charges. Larger railing products are shipped via semi-truck (excluding AK & HI). Most of the larger items will have a flat rate Shipping Fee, and will be shown on the item page, before you enter the item into your cart. For phone orders, shipping charges will be calculated depending on the specifics of the order.
For international orders, please use the UPS online tool for calculating freight charges, or call us directly for a quote.
CUSTOM ORDERS:
If changes are necessary after custom order has been placed online, or an order given via phone conversation, please call immediately before the order has entered the production cycle. Once the custom order has been processed which can be as soon as the next business day, changes may not be made once production has begun. This is especially important for custom cable assemblies. Your measurements are very important. Please remember to confirm each measurement twice. Once the assembly is mechanically swaged, it cannot be undone.
NON-CUSTOM ORDERS:
All in-stock non custom items are returnable up to 30 days from the confirmed delivery date. Returns must be pre-approved by SC&R and must accompany a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) number provided by us. SC&R will refuse any materials that are returned to us without the appropriate RMA number. All returned material must be shipped back undamaged at your expense. Any used materials that were installed prior to the return will be rejected. A 20% restocking fee will be charged for all returned materials.
WOOD PRODUCTS:
Unacceptable Returns of Wood Products: Wood exhibiting minor differences from store and gallery images are not defective, merely one-of-a-kind. Unique qualities include knots, splits, checking, sap, pith, mineral streaks, embodied cracks, etc. as well as variations in exact color, grain, thickness, texture, porosity, etc.
Legitimate Wood Returns: Wood products which arrive with serious damages accrued during shipping will be accepted upon return and either refunded or replaced.
